A non-profit organization that promotes the reduction of waste in landfills through sustainable deconstruction and renovation building practices, has hired K4 Contracting Group, to help them build out their new, greatly expanded location.
This non-profit group reclaims building materials and sells them at their warehouse to the community, with proceeds supporting education and job-training programs which help foster individual, community and economic growth. This business is great for the community and great for the environment! We could not be more proud of helping this non-profit expand.
The new location estimated at over 26,000 square feet, nearly doubles their current size. As a unique feature of K4 Contracting’s communication and understanding of our client’s needs, this project includes working with the non-profit’s labor force where possible, utilizing donated materials, and incorporating as much of their reclaimed building materials as possible during construction.
So far, we’ve finished the concrete floor grinding, framing the walls, and a few more tasks. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting and unique project.
